WHere is an easy interpretation of a cocktail from a new drinks list. Designed as a batch premix that's bursting with tastes of a holiday season, which makes it perfect for your celebration. Any leftover syrup for brunch beverages, puddings, or to make additional servings of the drink.
Bikini Recipe
Yields 10 people
For the Clementine Cordial (yields 750ml)
300ml newly squeezed clementine juice
200ml recently pressed lemon juice
500g fine sugar
For the Cocktail (produces 850ml, enough for 10)
400ml good quality vodka
100ml dry gin
150ml peach-flavored liqueur
200ml clementine syrup (from the recipe above)
A few cranberries, to garnish
Mandarin essential oil, as a final touch
Instructions
To prepare the Citrus Syrup: Place every items inside a pan, bring to a simmer, stirring to dissolve. After that, turn off the burner and leave to reach room temperature entirely. Decant to a sterilised bottle, seal keeping it in the refrigerator, where it will keep for around one month.
For the Batch Mix: Mix all the spirits and syrup in a sizeable container, allow it to infuse for one hour, then filter it preferably using muslin, making it perfectly clear.
To serve: Pour 85ml of the premix into a mixing glass packed with ice, and agitate lightly for a minute until cold. Strain into a cold coupe glass or a similar vessel, top with a few cranberries and finish by giving it a brief mist of the essential oil over the top.
