Here is a image of the British Prime Minister Keir Starmer reaching the Egyptian city of Sharm El Sheikh, where a global leadership conference on halting hostilities in Gaza will be conducted on Monday.

Amid his regional tour, Starmer will pledge a £20m humanitarian aid package to help deliver WASH services to the Gaza region during his stay in Egypt on Monday.

This financial support is included in a larger 116 million pound aid commitment in support of the Palestinian population throughout 2025.

“The United Kingdom will support the next stage of discussions to secure the complete execution of the peace plan, so that civilians from each side can reconstruct their existence in safety and security,” the PM is likely to announce.

“This day is the initial, vital stage of halting these hostilities and now we must realize the subsequent step, in its entirety.”
