Former BBC Advisers Undergo Parliamentary Questioning In the Wake of Claims of Prejudice in Disclosed Memo

She commences by giving context to the leaked memorandum authored by Michael Prescott and published in a national newspaper.
"It is not my wish for the British Broadcasting Corporation tilting in any particular direction, I simply desire it straight, impartial and fair," he declares.
Upon being questioned whether he considers the British Broadcasting Corporation is institutionally biased, he responds: "No, I do not. It is important to note, tons of stuff the BBC does is exceptional - encompassing informative and entertainment content."
However, he continues: "There is significant effort that needs to be done at the BBC."
A further ex-adviser BBC specialist questioned by the panel, Caroline Daniel, remarks she views the British Broadcasting Corporation with great importance and that it maintains a "ongoing system and vigorous discourse" across dynamic and complex subjects.
"Whether the BBC was prepared to conduct a thorough conversation and debate and take action?" she reflects. "As I see it, indeed, they were."
