Ex- Physician Faces Sexual Assault Allegations Involving Thirty-Eight Individuals in His Care
Legal authorities report that a ex- doctor now faces charges for committing sexual assaults against thirty-eight victims who were patients.
Details of the Grave Allegations
The accused, Nathaniel Spencer from Birmingham is accused of numerous sexual offences – some of which involve acts against minors under the age of thirteen – spanning the period from 2017 and 2021.
A senior prosecutor commented, “Legal teams have worked at length to assist a thorough and intricate investigation, carefully reviewing the available evidence to determine that there is a strong case to bring the case to trial and that it is in the public interest.”
Scope of the Investigation
These allegations follow what investigators called a “detailed inquiry” into alleged sexual offences at two hospitals: the Royal Stoke university hospital and a facility in Dudley.
The defendant is due to appear at the local magistrates' court on January 20th.

Prosecutors outline the 45 charges he is charged with:
- Fifteen counts of assault.
- Seventeen counts of penetrative assault.
- Nine counts of sexual assault of a child under 13.
- 3 counts of penetrative assault on a child under thirteen.
- One count of attempting to assault by penetration.
